D4 Medical
We offer Driver Medicals at our Training Centre with our registered doctor.
We can assist with the completion of your D4 Medical Examination Report and ensure all paperwork is ready to be returned to DVLA.

When attending your medical you will need to bring the following –
- Identification documents
- Driving glasses or prescription glasses (not contact lenses) to meet the eye sight standard needed for driving
- A copy of your prescriptions, if taking any medications
All new Group 2 lorry or bus drivers must complete a D4 Medical.
You will also need to attend a D4 Medical examination if you are renewing your Group 2 entitlement at 45 years old and every 5 years from 45 to 65.
From age 65 you will need to compete a D4 medical every year.
A D4 may also be needed if you`re a NI, EU, or EEA driver whose authority to drive Group 2 vehicles in Great Britain has expired, or if you hold a medically restricted Group 1 license and want to upgrade to a Group 2 license.
